Priveq Investment is becoming the new majority owner of San Sac AB, one of Sweden’s leading waste disposal equipment vendors with sales of some SEK 140 m. San Sac’s management will remain with the company, and as significant partners. This ownership change will enable actions including the injection of resources in product development and expansion on new markets.

Private equity firm Priveq Investment has recently made its 100th investment, vhile also celebrating 25 years in the Swedish private equity market (1983-2008). In this period, Priveq has helped bring 24 companies to the stock market.

With a 70% holding, private equity firm Priveq Investment is becoming the new main owner of Unisport Scandinavia, the Scandinavian leader in sports surfaces with sales of some SEK 200 m. The company’s founder Mikael Hjelte will remain as CEO and partner. This new ownership structure is intended to enable continued expansion on new markets. This also means that Priveq has invested in one hundred companies.

MEMS-foundry Silex Microsystems AB is issuing new shares worth SEK 150 million (USD 25 million) to expand manufacturing capacity. The new issue is being subscribed to by Priveq Investment and Northzone, both thereby becoming new owners in Silex. CapMan, currently the company’s principal owner, is also participating in the new share issue.
